Jerk Seasoning

Jerk Seasoning should contain only the spices and dried herbs required for Jerk Chicken. Those that include dried substitutes for things that should really be fresh will produce a poor result or if combined with the fresh ingredients produce an overpowering end result. Our Jerk seasoning is a delicate blend of the essential spices freshly prepared in small batches. Jerk seasoning should also not contain any salt because true Jerk chicken requires Soy sauce to bring the salt.

Jerk Seasoning recipe

• 4 x Dried Thyme
• 2 x Black Pepper
• 2 x Cinnamon powder
• 1 x Nutmeg powder
• 6 x Allspice

Proportions are relative so make in sizes that relate to how often you will use Jerk Seasoning and don't keep for too long. Store in an airtight container in a cool dark cupboard for longest life.
